When I think of February, I can’t help but think of Valentine’s Day! Valentine’s Day is a day we show those we love how much we love them. Now, hopefully we show our loved ones how much we love them everyday, but Valentine’s Day is a day we do something a little extra special. It’s also a time when a lot of couples become engaged!
I remember being in elementary school and making my boxes for all my valentines to be put in from my classmates. I remember helping my kids make the same boxes or big envelopes for their valentines to go in. They would pick out their valentines and then sign each one of them.
We still celebrate now, even though everyone is grown, we either go out to eat, or I get flowers from my husband, we exchange cards. I still get cards & candy for my kids, grandkids and now great-grandkids. I like Valentines!

NUMBER 1 MOST ROMANTIC PLACE TO VISIT THIS YEAR AS NAMED BY TRIP SAVVY!
I was shocked, but Trip Savvy names London, England as the most romantic place to visit.
According to “Trip Savvy”, the number 1 destination for romance is London. Since Valentine’s falls on a Friday, you have a 3 day weekend you could hop across the pond and explore the land of “Notting Hill,” “Love Actually,” and Bridgette Jone’s Diary. You can do a self-guided walking tour of the setting where the 1999 romantic comedy, Notting Hill starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts was filmed. You start at Notting Hill Gate tube station, the walk is about 2 miles in length and takes under an hour to complete from start to finish.
For romance you’ll want to stay at 11 Cadogan Gardens for sheer luxury and romance.
