Not only is this the beginning startof a new year, it is also the beginning of a whole new decade!
What are your plans for 2020?
Where in the World would you like to travel this decade?
All good questions.
Hopefully here are some answers.
First though in order for me to know where I’m going, I want to review where I’ve been this past year.
Feb.2019 I had the opportunity to travel to Charlotte, North Carolina to stay at the Ballantyne Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel. This is a beautiful resort hotel, 4 stars. It is within a 15 minute drive of Quail Hollow Club and SouthPark Mall, which I passed on my way from the airport.
I was there for a Travel Workshop so I really only saw the hotel. But while I was there the service was impeccable, the food was wonderful, and everyone was very friendly. I couldn’t stay longer since it was my granddaughter’s birthday, and my grandson was playing in the high school playoffs for basketball. The area around this hotel is very nice. It rained the entire time I was there all 2 days, so it made it hard to venture out even to walk around.

April 2019 was a very fun month because my granddaughter and I were able to go on our Southern Caribbean Cruise on the Carnival Horizon. The Southern Caribbean included, Turks and Caicos, La Romana, Dominican Republic, Curacao and Aruba.

I love cruising and now my granddaughter, Brianna does too. We can’t wait to go on another cruise. The next time though she will bring along her husband and 2 children, soon to be 3 children, so it will be a little while before she can cruise again.
The end of June first part of July I traveled with my daughter Michelle, her husband Jeff, and my 2 granddaughters Peyton & Rylee. We went back to California, one of our favorite vacation spots. We went to Huntington Beach, Dana Point, Balboa Pier and beach and of course our favorite, Disneyland!

The rest of the year we stayed close to home. The summer vacation here in Pueblo has become considerably shorter than when I was growing up. All the kids go back to school the first part or middle of August.
We made quick trips to The North Pole, Garden of the Gods and the Denver Museum. At thanksgiving and Christmas we stayed home, but we did have our annual Ugly Christmas Sweater, Scavenger Hunt, Cookie Exchange Potluck!
All in all I would say we had a pretty busy year in 2019! I am very grateful for all of the travel we were able experience. I am truly excited to see what 2020 is going to bring for the Trendy Travel Lady and her family.
Logan & Yoselin 1 task was to find “A Christmas Story” and act like someone was telling him, “You’ll shoot your eye out!” Michelle, Rylee & Peyton Paislee hard at work on her robot! Brianna, Braxton & Paislee
Next Blog Post I will share I will be going this year for 2020!
Lovely overview of your travels!!
