Day 1.

We are closest to the west coast, so we consider ourselves “west coast” people. This year however, we decided to go to Disney World and Universal Orlando. Hopefully you’ve already read my post about Universal Orlando. If not, that’s okay, you can always go back and give it a quick read.
Disney World is laid out totally different than Disneyland and California Adventureland. Disney World is divided into 4 different parks. We chose to focus on only 2 parks due to our time restraint, and the fact that we thought Magic Kingdom was more for younger kids. We had teenagers and “young at heart adults”.
We decided to start with Disney Hollywood Studios. It was a blast!
First stop. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway!

This roller coaster was so much fun! I am a roller coaster fanatic and this hits the top of my list! This in my book tops Space Mountain at Disneyland! You’re in the dark twisting and turning, up and down, jamming to Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way.” It’s really unexplainable, you’ll just have to experience the thrill for yourself!

You’ll check-in to the Hollywood Tower Hotel, but will you check-out? This is a must ride. Check your heart rate after you get off the ride. If you get off the ride! (Just kidding)

Star Wars Guards
The Star Wars area was so realistic, all the rides were fantastic! Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance—You have to request with your virtual queue. Unfortunately we did not get in. My daughter and son-in-law and their 2 daughters got in and they said it was amazing. The rides we rode there were amazing. There were only 2 times you could try and get in, 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM. That’s all the pictures for now, the rest of the time we were having fun riding the rides.
We then took a break, went back to our condo hotel, ate, rested and then returned and just focused on riding rides.

Our last stop on Day 1 at Disney World Hollywood Studios was Toystoryland. We rode the Hot-Diggity-Dog roller coaster, and it was so fun. It was so long I couldn’t get the whole thing into one picture.
On our way out is when my granddaughters and son-in-law spotted Jalyn Hall, with his mom and other family and friends. My granddaughters all wanted a picture with him, and as he was walking away from us, my son-in-law in his coach’s voice, said, “Jalyn” and he turned around. My son-in-law went up and talked to him and then asked if he would take a picture with the girls and he very graciously said “yes.” His mom was very nice and asked if we watched the show and they all said yes. I hadn’t yet, but after I got home I watched all 3 seasons on Netflix. Jalyn plays Spencer Jame’s younger brother, Dillon.
Day 2.
DISNEY ANIMAL KINGDOM
Day 2 started off on a dreary note, it was pouring down rain. I mean pouring. But the day had to go on. We had already had our tickets, and the next day was the 4th of July and we really didn’t want to be in the park on the 4th of July. Way too many people and lines would be extra long.

Our first stop at Animal Kingdom was the Avatar ride, we waited over an hour but it was well worth the wait! The vivid colors in that ride were amazing, and it was a relaxing ride, just like you were soaring over the jungle with other avatars! By far my favorite ride in the Animal Kingdom.

One thing that Disney does like no other, is you feel like you are really in the jungle, the rainforest, in Africa with Kilimanjaro. It’s amazing. We spent the day doing the jungle ride, jungle safari, like I said the Avatar ride was my favorite. The lines were still long even though it rained all day long. We were going to take a break and come back but we decided that we would stay and do everything we wanted to and then just go back to the hotel rest and get cleaned up and then go eat. Which is what we did!
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Orlando, Universal Orlando and Disney World Animal Kingdom and Disney Hollywood Studios.
Again, nobody does it better than Disney! The Happiest Place on Earth!
